In 1844, our hilltop farm was settled by pioneer James Dixon from South Carolina, and in 1981 the Provence family acquired the property as the second owners. The more than 100 foot change in elevation across the hills and creeks within the farm provides beautiful hilltop views. Our barn sits on top of the hill with excellent views of the sunset. In the early years the farm was used for growing many crops including corn, cotton and peanuts, then it was a cattle farm. Over the last 30 years, it has become a favorite agritourism location for the Tri-state area.

Strawberry season begins in early Spring and ends in late May or early June. Our homemade strawberry ice cream and strawberry fried pies will be served fresh every Saturday and Sunday throughout the spring. On easter weekend we offer many activities for families and friends to come enjoy such as strawberry picking, duck races, watermelon chunking, pig races, kid’s train and plenty more. We will also be serving pulled pork and other concessions. Come out and make precious memories in our beautiful strawberry patch. Visit our Spring Family Fun tab for more info on our activities and hours for Spring 2023.

Weekends in October are dedicated to our Octoberfest which includes our pumpkin patch, crop mazes, horseback riding, kid’s train, axe throwing, pig races, duck races, mini golf, pumpkin chunking, and lots more.
